Veerabhadrasana or Virabhadrasana is one of the most popular yoga postures, which adds beauty and courage to one’s yoga practice. The asana is pronounced as Vee- Ra- Bha- Dra-aasana. It means, Veera – vigorous, warrior, courageous; Bhadra – good, auspicious; Asana – Posture.

  • Downward-Facing Dog (Adho Mukha Svanasana)

Adho Mukha Svanasana is another name of downward facing dog pose yoga. This yoga is included a handstand, forward bend and inversion pose. ‘Adho’ means downward, ‘Mukha’ means face, and ‘Svana’ means dog. There are so many ways to perform downward facing dog yoga depending on starting position.

  • High Lunge (Crescent Lunge)

Want to learn crescent lunge pose? Bring your hands onto your right knee and directly over your right ankle. Inhale and raise your arms above your head. Exhale deeper and forward into the lung, bend the right knee as much as you can. You can take the spine into a back bend whether that feels you comfortable. Inhale to bring the front knee back over the ankle. Now repeat on the left side.

  • Boat Pose (Navasana)

In the entire yoga style, Boat Pose is very popular. This Boat Pose you will see your entire body takes a shape like a boat. If you try to do this yoga pose, you need to lie flat on your back on the floor with both of your arms by your side.  It should be seen like 45 degrees.

  • Locust (Salabhasana)

Locust pose is one of the most popular yoga pose in the entire yoga style. This pose is also known as Salabhasana or Shalabhasana or Grasshopper Pose. It is known as Grasshopper Pose, because the name of this yoga comes from the Sanskrit words “Shalabh” means “Grasshopper”. 

  • Mountain pose (Tadasana)

In Sanskrit “Tadasana” is also known as “The Mountain Pose”. The asana or pose can make you like a mountain by standing and helps you to become steady. This pose is a basic one in the form of many standing yoga pose in the entire yoga style.  This yoga pose calms your brain. Helpful to relieve fatigue and stress, good for backache problems, insomnia, sinusitis and infertility.

  • Bridge Pose (Setu Bandha Sarvangasana)

The Bridge pose is another name of construction of a bridge. The legs and the hips do most of the work which helps in rejuvenating tired feet. Line on the ground with your knees bent, fit your knees together and arms on your side, and touch your palm on the floor.
